Bugatti provides modern changes to Type 35 that will provide a driving experience for children and adults. With an electric powertrain, Bugatti Baby II will be present at Geneva International Motorshow to celebrate the 110th anniversary of the French car manufacturer.
Born from the classic Bugatti Type 35, Baby II is the pride of the company. Despite having a small body design, this car has two different power modes namely “child mode” and “adult mode”. With child mode, this car is capable of reaching top speeds at 20 km / h (around 12 mph). In adult mode, Baby II is able to reach a top speed of up to 45 km / h (around 28 mph). For those who are not satisfied with the speed set in each mode, there is an optional update to unlock “Speed Lock”. With the speed that has been unlocked, the driver will get an additional power of up to 10 kW (5 hp) to go up to the maximum limit.
Comes with the traditional Bugatti Racing Blue, Baby II still has various other colors available to order. The source of Baby II’s energy comes from under the hood of the Bugatti “Macaron” badge with a battery-powered electric powertrain driven from the rear wheels with a removable lithium-ion battery. Baby II wheels forged eight-spoke aluminum alloy wheels. As for the interior, the driver’s seat is covered in leather, with an aluminum dash.
It is predicted that the Bugatti Baby II is only produced as many as 500 units which will be priced at 30,000 Euros (around $ 33,700) and production is set to start this fall.
