CLS still characterizes its uniqueness as a Mercedes-Benz coupe, which remains attractive and expressive. The CLS design is based on the Mercedes F800 concept and displays design cues from other models including the Mercedes SLS AMG. In 2012, CLS underwent a facelift design change by Wald International. Changes include, new bumpers, alloy wheels, side skirts, and exhaust systems.
Equipped with the BlueEFFICIENCY V6 and V8 engines on the latest CLS-Class is the result of the final development of Mercedes-Benz. Lightweight aluminum material is applied for the manufacture of crankcases, pistons and cylinder heads. While the crankshaft, connection rods and valves are made of special steel molds.
Through the use of these lightweight and measurable materials, CLS-Class machines have reduced the occurrence of friction by 28 percent from previous engine models. Before switching to interior features and other features that are the hallmarks of the CLS-Class, there’s nothing wrong with looking at the engine specs of the latest three CLS-Class models.
