The Range Rover exterior was upgraded by Wald International without upgrading a new engine. The new Body Kit was officially released in 2006. Currently Land Rover still uses a supercharged V8, the car can reach 60 mph (97 km / h) from 14.8 seconds or only 6.5 seconds and has a top speed of 110 mph (180 km / h), up to around 130 mph (210 km / h), respectively.
BODY KIT 2006 still uses a factory standard “infotainment” system. With a touch screen on and off-road navigation, radio, CD, satellite radio (US), telephone, rear view camera, wireless video camera system and other additional features that are all accessed through the same user interface. The audio system uses Harman Kardon. Also available is a fully integrated DVD back seat entertainment.
This system is connected by an industry-standard optical fiber network known as Media Oriented Systems Transport or MOST and an electronic network system known as CAN bus. The same system is also used on Land Rover Discovery and Range Rover Sport. Including Continental Automotive for a complete cockpit module that combines the Denso touch screen navigation unit. Continental also supplies the center console unit. Other suppliers include Alpine car audio for integrated rear seat head unit entertainment. Connaught Electronics Limited (CEL) provides the Rear View Camera (RVC) and Wireless Camera (VentureCam) systems and PTI telephone capabilities provided by Nokia.
Most importantly, the audio system was developed together with Harman Kardon. The premium offer produces 720 Watts, a 14-speaker system and is the first OEM vehicle to use discrete surround surround Logic 7 algorithms.
As a supplier for BODY KIT 2006 for the Land Rover Range Rover, WALD INTERNATIONAL only provides upgrades for front bumpers, rear bumpers and wheel wheels.
