The 2005 Frankfurt International Motor Show in the autumn introduced the W221. Along with the launch, Wald International produced an aftermarket to enhance Mercedes-Benz’s appearance.
The 2007 S-Class W221 is slightly larger in all dimensions than its predecessor, and features three newly developed engines with a power increase of up to 26%. The interior is completely new, all the material has been upgraded and makes it a more luxurious trip, and the center console’s transmission transmission lever has been replaced with a shifter mounted in the column.
New technology features on the W221 include the infrared Night View Assist feature and the latest Mercedes-Benz pre-collision system. The W221 has sharper exterior arrangement features (the widest arc fenders) and improved technology. W221 is the second generation in a row from the S-Class which is produced solely by the sedan body style.
To upgrade, Wald offers wheels, bumpers and side skirts. For the interior and performance, it still uses factory standards.
